We are beyond gratitude for being here, experiencing the kindness of the Paraguayan people. The year has been deeply eventful. We left our beloved Germany, visited with family and friends in USA and now live for 2 incredible months here. We got our CEDULA, that is our permanent residency! In my next post I will write more about our wonderful Christmas and our time during the Holidays, but today I would like to close the year with these thoughts...

At the end of the year we tend to reflect and come up with our "New Year's Resolutions" Instead, it's best to have a revolution of thought. Start renewing your mind and you will reach your goals!!! Resolutions are but intentions, as we all know "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." So revolutionise your thinking. Start to believe what is true about YOU. You are a winner, you are strong and able, you are accepted with your imperfections - When you start believing that about yourself, you need no resolutions where you might just stop smoking for a month or excersicing in January. No, you will realize that you have the determination, focus, love and self-control to do all things possible.

So at the end of the year, focus on what to be thankful for, remember what goals you did reach, what you accomplished and most important who you went the extra Mile for, then you know you reached out in love. That is the most important thing, as the good book teaches: at the end there will be FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE, but the greatest of these is LOVE.

In that respect - have a CELEBRATION that is revolutionary - Love yourself and one another,
